I’ve started writing poems and I reckon it takes about a thousand until they’re worth a thing, so here’s something less than a thing:

"Dwell in this place,
let’s wait and hold onto
our eternities that’ve vanished.
Wait for me
in summer’s
gleam. Hold still
by me before we
pray and our hearts
start too. Mist and god beams.
Digging thru rubble
and glass to find pieces
of you. Dear one,
in this mirror, do I miss me?
Do I see me? I know I’m the
dead one, but am I the ghost,
or are you?”
